What We Do
We’re a company dedicated to the service & repair of renewable energy systems; on-shore wind turbines in particular. We provide regular servicing, repairs and contract services to a variety of wind turbine systems including Gaia, Evoco, Proven, Evance and Bergey. Other comparable makes and models considered.
Gaia 133 Servicing & Repairs
We provide dedicated servicing and maintenance for Gaia 133 wind turbines. Regular servicing is essential to keep your Gaia 133 in good working order and operating efficiently. Gaia and Heightec trained and approved.
Evoco 10Kw Servicing & Repairs
Including our own most successful grease filled blade root bearings and replacement pitch control and electrical parts.
Evoco⇒Gaia Wind Turbine Head Swap
Evoco wind turbine repairs using a Gaia head. The Gaia is beautifully simple and much more reliable machine than the Evoco. Service and repair costs are a fraction of those of the Evoco. Installation includes engineering verification of an appropriate repair as well as foundation bolt up grade in line with recent HSE advice.
A life long interest in renewables and wind turbines led me to assist when a friends Evoco turbine was stricken with continuous problems. When the importer failed I moved in to try and tackle the machine and bring it back to use.
My past design experience and some measurements led me to believe that the blade root bearings were inadequate for the intended purpose. I redesigned the bearing arrangement and we fitted them for test. Early results looked good and as the word spread, we were requested to attend the same type of turbines up and down the country.
“Within the first year we had replaced the bearings on 50 turbines with good results.”
This turbine type has other potential improvements and we are looking to secure an extended independent supply of spare parts.
We have extended our services to cover other makes of turbine through approved courses and now have a team ready to service your turbine. We have the best equipment to give access to the most difficult sites without damage to the land or crops.
Meet The Team
We are currently looking to recruit another engineer. He or she would be conversant with servicing electrical and or mechanical machinery, be willing to travel the UK with overnight stays away. A mechanical fitter, electrical qualifications or working at height would be an advantage but training and a career path would be available for the right person. A full driving licence is required. A partner position may be considered.
